British boxing has never been more popular. With champions across the weight classes, including the biggest box office draws in the heavyweight division, it’s no wonder that more and more people are on the lookout for boxing tickets. 

But if you’re not familiar with the sweet science, which boxers will ensure you get a great, entertaining fight? We’ve looked everywhere from flyweight to heavyweight to find five British boxers that everyone needs to see.


Joe Joyce



When it comes to British heavyweights, Joe Joyce won’t be the first person you think of. Obviously there’s Fury and Joshua (more on them later), and most boxing fans will be familiar with Whyte and Chisora. But 37 year old Joyce has a chin made of granite and fists made of iron. As the WBO interim title holder, he’s due a chance to take on Usyk. If he can deliver the same crushing performance he delivered against former champion Joseph Parker, then we could be in for a very interesting contest.
