Billie Eilish Tour Overview
Billie Eilish’s massive world tour to promote her most recent album, Happier Than Ever, will begin on February 3rd in New Orleans. The tour will travel across America and Canada and then head to Europe in June for a 20-date leg, before finishing up with 15 shows in New Zealand and Australia throughout September. Support acts for Eilish will include Willow Smith, Dora Jar, Duckwrth, Jessie Reyes and Jungle.
Eilish has already received praise for vowing to make her 2022 tour as eco-friendly as possible. The talented artist has partnered with Reverb, an environmental non-profit organisation, that will “green” the entire tour through steps such as banning plastic straws and requesting that fans bring their own refillable water bottles. Reverb will also be hosting the “Billie Eilish Eco-Lounge” which attendees of the concerts will be able to visit for free. The eco-lounge will showcase nonprofits from each city of the tour, and provide information on how best to look after the environment.
About Billie Eilish
Billie Eilish is an American singer-songwriter who first hit the spotlight in 2015, when she released her single Ocean Eyes, which had been written and produced by her brother Finneas, on SoundCloud. The song went viral, receiving hundreds of thousands of listens in just two weeks, and as a result Eilish was scouted for a record deal.
Eilish released her debut studio album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? in 2019 and the album immediately soared to the top of both the US and UK music charts. Since the success of her first album, Billie has co-wrote and recorded the theme song for James Bond’s No Time To Die and released her sophomore album, Happier Than Ever, which reached number one in 25 countries.
Billie Eilish is a highly awarded artist, and despite only releasing her first album three years ago, she has already secured seven Grammy awards, two American Music Awards, one Guinness World Record, a Golden Globe, three MTV Video Music Awards and two BRIT Awards. Notably, Eilish is the youngest artist in Grammy history and only the second ever, to win all four general field categories - Best New Artist, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year - in the same year.
