Pete Tong Tour Overview
Pete Tong returns with long-time collaborator and conductor Jules Buckley, and The Heritage Orchestra for his insanely popular Ibiza Classics tour in 2022.
The show began in 2016 and includes incredible classical electronic music performances from The Heritage Orchestra as well as a host of special guest DJs and vocalists. The Ibiza Classics show has become an iconic live music event with tickets being highly sought after to witness magical reimaginings of classic house music tracks such as ‘Right Here Right Now’ and ‘Unfinished Symphony’.
The tour will commence in June with performances at a number of UK festivals and events before nine arena shows later in the year.
About Pete Tong
Pete Tong (MBE) is a legendary English DJ who hosts BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix and Essential Selection, manages his own record label FFRR Records and performs at nightclubs and music festivals around the world. In 2014 he was appointed as a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for services to Broadcasting and Music.
Regarded as a global ambassador for electronic music, Pete Tong was involved in organising the first International Music Summit in Ibiza in 2008. The event has gone on to become an annual fixture dedicated to bringing awareness to the art of electronic music and DJing through discussion, debates, master classes and demonstrations.
Pete Tong is one of the UK’s most recognised DJs and in 2017 he won the award for Radio Show of the Year at the Electronic Music Awards for The Essential Collection. Tong usually splits his time between the UK, Ibiza and the US where he headlines multiple shows and also hosts his own events.

- Pete Tong has had a passion for music since as long as he can remember and before he was old enough to drive his Dad would drive him to his gigs at school discos and local halls.
- The phrase ‘It’s all gone Pete Tong’ is rhyming slang for ‘It’s all gone a bit wrong’ and the saying was coined by Paul Oakenfold in 1987.
- Prior to becoming a famous DJ, Tong managed Bananarama’s career in the 80s when he worked at London Records.
