Guns N’ Roses Tour Overview
Guns N’ Roses are back on the road after the success of their last worldwide tour, Not In This Lifetime in which they headlined festivals and performed to sold out shows, receiving rave reviews. Expect roaring renditions of their classic hits, mind blowing guitar solos from the everlasting talent of Slash and Rock-God level entertainment.
The band’s 2022 tour will visit North & South America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Guns N’ Roses European tour dates will be through June and July, including performances at a number of noteworthy Rock festivals such as Hellfest in France and Sweden Rock Festival. They will then head to the Americas for September and October before finishing up their tour in Australia and New Zealand throughout November and December.
About Guns N’ Roses
Guns N’ Roses is an American hard rock band that formed in 1985 in California, taking the Los Angeles rock scene by storm. The original band members included Axl Rose as lead vocalist, Slash as lead guitarist, Izzy Stradlin as rhythm guitarist, Duff McKagan on bass and Steven Adler on the drums.
The band’s debut album, Appetite for Destruction, was released in 1987 and reached number one on the Billboard 200 the following year thanks to the success of singles, Welcome To The Jungle, Paradise City and Sweet Child o’ Mine. Appetite for Destruction sold around 30 million copies worldwide, 18 million of which were in the US, making it the best selling debut album in the country. Over the course of their career, Guns N’ Roses have sold more than 100 million records across the globe and are one of the best selling acts in history.
The lineup of the band has changed numerous times over the years, with multiple members leaving and coming back on more than one occasion. The current band lineup as of 2016 consists of original members, Axl Rose, Slash and McKagan as well as Richard Fortus on guitar, Frank Ferrer on drums and Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese on keyboards.

- The band produced the most expensive rock album on record, with Chinese Democracy costing a whopping $14 million to create.
- Despite being an American band, Guns N’ Roses released their first single, It’s So Easy, in the UK and nowhere else.
- Guns N’ Roses were responsible for the longest tour in rock history when they toured 27 different countries across 28 months.
- The inspiration for the song Welcome To The Jungle came from a homeless man to accosted Axl Rose and his friend when they first stepped off the bus to arrive in New York City. The man screamed, “You know where you are? You’re in the jungle, baby! You’re gonna die!”
