Tom Jones Tour Overview

Following the incredible success of his album, Surrounded By Time in 2021, Tom Jones is embarking on an album tour across Europe and America. The tour will be commencing on 11th June in Cork, Ireland and followed by another 33 dates across the continent, 10 of which are in the UK.

The tour is expected to showcase Jones’ recent album but will of course include performances of his most beloved and iconic hits. Support acts include Stereophonics, Catfish and The Bottlemen and Van Morrison.

About Tom Jones

Long time legend Tom Jones, officially known as Sir Thomas Jones Woodward OBE, is a Welsh singer who first rose to fame with a series of hits in the 1960s. Jones is regarded as a musical icon whose songs have spanned the genres of pop, R&B, country, dance, soul and show tunes and drawn in fans of all demographics. He has sold over 100 million records and 36 of his singles have made it into the UK Top 40, including “It’s Not Unusual”, “What’s New Pussycat?” and “Sex Bomb”.

Tom Jones is a highly awarded artist, and received his first Grammy Award in 1966 for Best New Artist. Since then, he has gone on to receive several other accolades including two Brit awards, an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) and most notably a knighthood from Queen Elizabeth II for services to music in 2005.

In 2021, Tom Jones released his 41st studio album, Surrounded By Time, which debuted at number one in the UK albums chart and made Jones the oldest male to earn a number one album in the country at the age of 80.

  • Tom Jones discovered his love for music when he was 12 years old and bedridden with a nasty illness, during this time he listened and read music and that’s where his passion began.
  • At the height of his fame, Tom Jones claimed that he was sleeping with up to 250 women a year whilst on tour (and he was married the whole time)!
  • Tom Jones might have had dozens of chart topping hits but his first ever release, Chills and Fever, failed to even make it into the charts.
