Camilo Tour Overview
The Camilo Tour 2022 will bring the artist to Europe for the first time in June, with performances in cities including Paris, London, Zurich, Milan and 16 cities in Spain. The artist is expected to perform singles from his hit album, “Mis Manos” as well as new music that has been recently in the making.
About Camilo
Camilo, whose full name is Camilo Echeverry, is a Colombian singer-songwriter and musician who rose to fame in 2008 after winning the talent show Factor XS (the Colombian version of the X Factor).
Camilo’s music genre is categorised as Latin pop/urban within which he is popular for his romantic song lyrics and soprano voice. The Colombian singer is best known for singles, “Tutu” which featured Pedro and Shakira, and “Desconocidos” with Mau y Ricky and Manuel Turizo.
“Desconocidos” was released in 2018 and reached number 23 on the Billboard Latin Pop Airplay chart, which resulted in Camilo being signed with Sony Music Latin in 2019. Since then Camilo has had a number of successful singles, his 2019 song “La Boca” with Mau & Ricky was certified triple platinum and “Tutu” soared to number two on the Latin Pop Airplay chart.
Camilo released his first studio album, “Por Primera Vez” in 2020 and it debuted at number one on the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart. The artist’s second album, “Mis Manos” came out in 2021 and featured song collaborations with a number of notable artists, it went on to win Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2021 Latin Grammy Awards.

- When Camilo was growing up in Colombia his family didn’t own a radio, instead they had a record player so Camilo spent a lot of his childhood listening to his family’s impressive record collection.
- Before winning XS Factor in 2017, Camilo entered the competition the year before with his sister but the duo didn’t make it far and so Camilo decided to come back as a solo artist.
- Camilo’s wife is the sister of the famous singing group Mau y Ricky, with whom Camilo has collaborated a number of times.
