Alicia Keys Tour Overview
ALICIA: The World Tour, is in support of Alicia Keys’ seventh album, which was highly praised upon its release in September of 2020 and became Keys’ eighth number one album on the Billboard R&B Albums Chart.
Attendees of the Alicia Keys tour can expect performances of her new songs as well as her much loved timeless hits. The tour will begin its 21-date European leg in Birmingham on 9th June 2022, before it heads to America in August.
About Alicia Keys
Alicia Keys is an American singer-songwriter and one of the world’s best selling music artists. Keys made her debut in 2001 with her first album, Songs in a Minor, which was both critically and commercially acclaimed and included Fallin’, her first single to make it to number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
Alicia Keys received five Grammy awards for her debut album, four for her second album, The Diary of Alicia Keys, which was released in 2003, and a further three for her third album, As I Am, in 2007. It was Keys’ fourth album, The Element of Freedom, that brought her success in the UK, topping the charts and selling four million copies worldwide. Her latest album is titled Alicia and was released in 2020.
In total, Alicia Keys has released seven studio albums, and sold over 65 million records worldwide. In 2000, she was named by Billboard as the top R&B artist of the 2000s decade and she has received numerous other accolades throughout her career; including 15 Grammy Awards, 17 NAACP Image Awards, 12 ASCAP Awards, and recognition from the Songwriters Hall of Fame and National Music Publishers Association.
