The Killers Tour Overview
The Killers Imploding The Mirage Stadium Tour is coming to the UK and Ireland for a 13 date leg during May and June of 2022. The tour is in support of the band’s sixth album of the same name and has been rescheduled from its original dates which had to be postponed due to Covid-19
Imploding the Mirage was a self produced album by the Killers for which they partnered with a selection of musical talents to create this collection of arena anthems and synth-rock gems that has been hailed by some as their best album yet.
Joining The Killer’s on their UK and Ireland leg of the 2022 tour will be a number of special guests, including Sam Fender, the Blossoms, Manic Street Preachers and Supergrass. The tour kicks off in Doncaster on May 24th and concludes in Dublin on June 15th.
About The Killers
The Killers are an American rock band that came together in Las Vegas in 2001. The band’s first members were lead singer and bassist, Brandon Flowers and lead guitarist, Dave Keuning. Current members Mark Stoermer, who plays bass and rhythm guitar, and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. who plays drums and percussion, joined the band in 2002. The lineup for the band has changed regularly, with Brandon Flowers being the one constant member. Since 2016 and 2017 Stoermer and Keuning have taken extended breaks from the band but both remain as official members.
All seven of The Killers’ studio albums have debuted in the charts at number one and the band are considered to be one of the biggest rock bands of the 21st century. They have sold more than 28 million records worldwide, and performed in over 50 countries including headlining world leading stages such as Wembley, Madison Square Garden and Glastonbury Festival.

- Brandon Flowers and Dave Keuning wrote the band’s most famous song, Mr. Brightside, in their very first rehearsal together.
- Flowers is a devout Mormon and even took part in a video campaign for the religion to change people’s perception of it.
- When Brandon Flowers was a child, a ouija board told him he would die on June 21st, which also happens to be his birthday.
- The band’s tour rider depends on the day of the week. On Monday, Wednesday and Friday they drink Maker’s Mark whiskey and Absolut Vodka. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday they go for Jack Daniel’s and Gin. Sundays are saved for tequila and Jameson’s.
- The Killers have a pre-show ritual called ‘The Cuddle’, in which they all join together in a circle before they go on stage.
